Support for grief, loss and bereavement

Information, services and community groups that can help support you and loved ones during times of bereavement.

Lelley Fields Crematorium – Preston, Holderness

On the Lelley Fields website, there are a range of useful links, including emotional support services and charities, how to talk to and support children through grief, and guides for the administrative process following the death of a loved one.

Lelley Fields Snowdrop Café

Lelley Fields holds a regular grief cafe which has been developed to connect local bereaved people so that they can meet others who are going through a similar situation.

It’s a friendly, informal place to meet, speak about experiences, ask questions, share resources and make new friends. Residents can also find out about bereavement support in the area – colleagues from HEY Mind bereavement service will be in attendance.

Everyone is welcome at the cafe, whether they are struggling with their own grief or supporting someone close to them through their grief.

Come along, let the team make you a drink and have a chat. We will listen and respect your story.

Cafe meeting times

The café meets once a month in the Birch Hall, at Lelley Fields Crematorium, HU12 8FX.
